TODAY'S AI" NEWS

AI Agents Are Reading Your Docs. Are You Ready?

Last month, 48% of visitors to documentation sites across Mintlify were AI agents—not humans.

Claude Code, Cursor, and other coding agents are becoming the actual customers reading your docs. And they read everything.

This changes what good documentation means. Humans skim and forgive gaps. Agents methodically check every endpoint, read every guide, and compare you against alternatives with zero fatigue.

Your docs aren't just helping users anymore—they're your product's first interview with the machines deciding whether to recommend you.

That means:
→ Clear schema markup so agents can parse your content
→ Real benchmarks, not marketing fluff
→ Open endpoints agents can actually test
→ Honest comparisons that emphasize strengths without hype

In the agentic world, documentation becomes 10x more important. Companies that make their products machine-understandable will win distribution through AI.

Google brings Gemini in Chrome to India

Google is expanding Gemini AI inside the Chrome browser to more countries. Users in India, Canada, and New Zealand can now use Gemini directly in Chrome. This helps with browsing, research, and daily tasks.

Key Points

  • New regions added: Google said Gemini in Chrome is now available in India, Canada, and New Zealand. This expands its earlier rollout in the U.S.

  • AI in the browser: This feature shows up as a sidebar assistant in Chrome. Users can ask questions about what they read on a webpage without leaving the tab.

  • Smarter browsing: Gemini can summarise long articles. It shares information, compares content from various tabs, and helps you research topics more quickly.

  • Works with Google apps: The AI assistant gathers details from Gmail, Google Drive, Keep, YouTube, and other Google services. This helps users complete tasks right from their browser.

  • More language support: The rollout adds over 50 languages. This includes several Indian languages like Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, and Telugu.

  • Goal: Google is integrating AI into everyday tools like Chrome. This aims to make browsing more interactive, productive, and AI-assisted.

Canopii looks to succeed where past indoor farms have not

Canopii, a startup, is creating robotic greenhouses. These greenhouses will grow vegetables automatically. Their goal is to solve the issues that led to the failure of many indoor-farming startups.

Key Points

  • Canopii has created robotic greenhouses. These can handle all farming tasks on their own. They plant seeds and harvest crops without any human help.

  • High output in a small space: Each greenhouse is roughly the size of a basketball court. It can produce about 40,000 pounds of herbs and leafy greens each year.

  • Less water use: The system needs only one water connection. This makes it much more efficient than traditional farming.

  • David Ashton got the idea after seeing how crops grow in drought areas. He noticed these crops travel long distances across the country, which sparked his inspiration.

  • Many indoor farming companies once got big funding, but they later closed down. This contrasts with failed vertical farms. Canopii says it aims for slower growth, smaller farms, and less reliance on venture capital.

  • Funding so far: The startup has raised around $3.6 million. Most of this money comes from grants, not traditional venture capital.

  • Future plans: Canopii will build its first commercial farm in Portland. Then, it aims to franchise the system to businesses such as schools, restaurants, and casinos.
